Well, I finally caved in to peer pressure and answered these questions. I hope this is not the most boring post ever for those of you who look at my blog!
1. Best thing you cooked last week? I barely cooked last week for some reason. I think the only homemade thing I made was chili and cornbread. I made a ton, so I think we ate it all week long.
2. If money, time and babysitting were no object, where would you go and with who? I would get a babysitter and go to Hawaii (probably Maui, an island I have not been to) with Andy...a nice luxurious place where we could be pampered (think spa) and just relax. I would settle for anywhere tropical.
3. When was the last time you cried? Last Week. Sometimes life can feel so overwhelming. Sometimes it's best to break life down into small bites and not try to do everything all at once.
4. 5 things you were doing this month 10 years ago. I had just moved to Aspen. I was living with 3 friends from Minnesota. I was working as a waitress at the Hotel Jerome and interviewing for a job as a ski instructor. I was spending way too much time (and money probably!) going out.
5. 5 things on your to do list today: Put away laundry, go to the park, make something (anyting!) for dinner, give the kids a bath, vacuum.
6. 5 favorite snacks: anything sugary - gummy candy, ice cream, homemade cookies, peanut M&M's,salt and vinegar chips
7. 5 bad habits: did I say I was addicted to sugar?, spending too much time on the Internet, procrastination, nail biting, reality TV
8. 5 favorite foods: basically anything I don't have to cook myself, Mexican food, sushi, Italian, homemade rolls (not homemade by me),kolachki (Czechoslovakian pastry my mom and grandma make)
9. 5 places I've been: Singapore, France, Thailand, Australia, Iowa
10. 5 favorite memories: skiing in Snowmass with Andy, births of Kayla and Chloe, my wedding, doing activities with my family growing up like biking and skiing, vacations back to Minnesota with my family
Now it is four other's turn and then they can tag four more. Unfortunately, I don't think I have four people who read my blog, but if you do and you have your own blog, consider yourself tagged!
You've been tagged: Michelle, and anyone else who wants to participate!!

Watch out boys!
26.2 Miles!
I ran the St. George Marathon on Saturday. Beautiful weather and scenery made for a nice run, aching muscles on the other hand...not so fun. I am proud of myself for completing my first marathon. However, I'm not sure if I'll run another. It was HARD!!! I was a little disappointed for not qualifying for the Boston Marathon, but Kayla had the best advice for me, "Mom, it doesn't matter if you win or lose." Ah, the wisdom of a 5 year old.
On the way home we stopped at my friend's parents farm in Richfield, Utah. Kayla said the farm was her favorite part of the trip. I think my favorite part of the trip was spending time with family and friends. Kellie and Michelle - feel free to "steal" the pictures of your kids in the pool for your blogs/personal use.
