First Day Home

Introducing....

Mary Elisabeth Keith! She was born on Monday Sept. 15 at 2:58 in the morning. She weighed 6lbs 9 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. We had gone to the hospital early Sunday morning, but got sent home. We went back to the hospital on Sunday evening and they wanted to send us home again, but we refused to go. Which was good because we really wanted to have the baby and she arrived 7.5 hours later.

We just got home from the hospital today, Tuesday, and everyone is doing great! Andy wore his lucky polo to the birth. It is old and tattered, but he wore it to both Kayla and Chloe's births, so he had to wear it to this one as well. I guess his lucky tradition paid off again!

Little Girl Bows

I found this great store on etsy that sells hair bows - Ella Bear Bowtique. http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5673657. As most of you know, my older girls NEVER let me do their hair and they usually look like somewhat neglected children (Kayla even got in trouble yesterday at gymnastics for never wearing a ponytail!). I am going to try to get this new baby into bows and cute hair do's early. I am hoping she has hair like the other two. Anyways, back to Ella Bear Bowtique, if you order anything today - Sept. 12 - she is donating all of her profits to a September 11th memorial World Trade Center United Family Group. Here are a few of my favorites for the upcoming holidays:

Keeping Busy

I am trying to stay busy as I anxiously await the baby's arrival. Today was a cleaning and sewing day. I thought I would share a couple of my new creations. The blanket Chloe is using is one I made today. I also need to make a couple more blankets for the baby. I have some cute ladybug and frog flannel to use.
